Cultivating Food Sovereignty

Food Sovereignty is the right to healthful, culturally appropriate, and sustainable foods, as well as the right to define and control our food systems on levels of production, transportation, and distribution.

Our project seeks to explore how to cultivate food sovereignty through cross-cultural relationship building. Throughout our project, we have collaborated with SevGen Consulting Inc. to engage food system contributors, host workshops and webinars, and design a module-based training program on food sovereignty basics.
